Fast rec!

The Awakening by Keira Marcos. Jim/Blair. Detective Jim Ellison doesn’t want a Guide. What he wants is peace and quiet and maybe for his ex-wife to disappear. Dr. Blair Sandburg, a successful profiler with the FBI, has nearly given up on finding his Sentinel. Then the night came where one’s pain drew the other across the country – neither will ever be the same. A long, good "sentinels are known" fic, what not to love?

Gollowing the meme again (didn't I do this recently?)

The BBC reckons most people will have only read 6 of the 100 books listed here. ...
Bold those you've read, italicize those you've started but didn't finish...

OK, I've only used boldsince I pretty much started on all of these one time or another.

Help... Which one is essential?

I work at a library a couple of days a week, and now the librarian have given me the task of finding some new manga series since we don't have a lot of these. The problem however is, which ones are good?

Most of our readers are boys: ages 11-15 yrs. There are some girls too, but we have more "girl manga" so now I'm trying to find those essential mangas that "everybody" have to read... But how to find these... Anybody have any suggestions on good mangas please fell free too tell me...

Feeling queasy

OH MY GOD, OH MY GOD, OHMYGOD, OHMYGOD, OHMYGODOHMYGODOHMYGODOHMYGODOHMYGODOHMYGODOHMYGODOHMYGODOHMYGODOHMYGODOHMYGOD!

I'm competing in obedience with Åska today, my very first time ever and Åska only does as I say the first time (or at all) 1/4 of the times, it will not end well.... I will never be able to show myself among people that was there after this day... I will probably end up on youtube so the rest of the world will see my shame and laugh....

OK, the drama is over, it will still not end well, but I will drag myself out among people even if I make an absolute idiot of myself...

I think I may have to throw up... I can't believe I was so stupid to register myself for this... Showing dogs and competing with them is so very different from eachother. Now they will be judging me. looking at me...

OK, guess I should go and do something that needs to be done before the horror...

Original slash – mostly fantasy…

Kracken's fics. Fantasy. Some very good, some to much non-con for my taste. I’m waiting with bated breath for “Sun of the Elyn” and “Catalyst” to be finished
Dan Kirk's Story Site. Some are very good, some not my cup of tea. Waiting for the third story in the “Rich Boy” serie

Ryo’s Through Hardships Unknown.

Twisted Hilarity. Great stories, none completed :-(

aerialsprite LJ. Taming the Tiger – not completed.

Nikerymis fiction. Check the newest entries, not all the fics are here!

Amasour’s fictions here also!

Tygatis fiction

Ajax attackerad

Your result for The Harry Potter Husband Test...

Mrs. Bill Weasley

Your perfect HP man is Bill Weasley.

You like guys who are cool. And not cool in that fake, dicky way, but actually cool. He's so cool that they couldn't find any actor to adequately portray him, so they decided to just leave him out of the movies rather than risk not doing justice to his coolness. He's like the Chuck Norris of Harry Potter: plain freaking awesome. When Voldemort says "You-Know-Who", he's talking about Bill Weasley.

Long time, no see

It's been a long time since I've posted, not that I haven't checked out some fics, but I've been in lurker mode a lot. I haven't read as many fics as usual either.

My dogs have taken up a lot of time and I've worked a lot too. I'm still working at a kindergarten, which is fun now that I have gotten used to it.

But now (finally) I have two weeks of vacation. Then I will work four weeks at a library and after that is finished I will work 12 hours/week at a library and 22 hours/week at a kindergarten. If everything goes according to the plan...

My dogs have been taking up a lot of time, well not Ajax so much. He gets to take it easy and only come for walks. Åska and I have been to a couple of dogshows and then we have been tracking a lot. I have also decided to let her have a litter of puppies the next time she is in heat, which will be in december sometime...

Under the cut are some pictures of Åska if anybody is interested :-)

Depressed

I'm feeling kind of low at the moment, my computer crashed last night and suddenly 100's of saved fics and favourite links disappeared, not to mention games I'm playing, written stories and a lot of useful programs. Bu at least I remembered to save my photos before christmas so not all om my puppy pictures is gone...

Well, things like this happens when you don't save what you are meant too, and I knew I should save them I just "never had the time"

On an other note, does anybody got Enahmas "My Man Friday" saved? It has been pretty long since I've read it but I was always glad that I had it in my computer for when I wanted to read it (and now it's gone, gone, gone)...

Well, I'm off scouring the Net for useful links that I should have...

Happy!

Yes!

I'm so F***ing happy right now. I live in a very small community, where it's really hard to find work. I manage to keep me floating, with a couple of hour work/week and the swedish Akassa (you are a member for at least a year, then you have the right to get about 80% of your pay back if you get unemployed, this is counted on all work you have done the 12 earlier months).

This summer I've worked at a library for about two months when everybody else had vacation. Today they called froma Day Care and offered me a 50% part time job for a month, maybe longer if it works out. I'm so very happy.

Not, that it's a lot of work really, but it's a n in on other branches and maybe I will find myself a job later after I get some experience from this...

I just called my mother and just babbled to her... And my dogs was barking as mad when they heard my shout of joy. *SO VERY HAPPY NOW* I will make some money and I might have some fun fo once...

Deathly Hallows

NO SPOILERS!

I've finished reading DH tonight, got it yesterday afternoon.

I must say I was happily surprised by the writing style, it was actually very good. Much more like a good fanfic than her first books (this is positive, not a negative thing).

The actual plot didn't come as a chock, and not because of any spoilers that I've read (but of course there were some idiots that didn't respect the wish of others).

I don't think I've spoiled the plot for anybody? It's not liked I mentioned the three dancing dwarws and the heliopaths from the ministry, not to mention the cave troll... Oops...
^^ Just a joke if anybody didn't get it
